NWS issues preliminary snowfall totals for January 31

Here is a preliminary map of snowfall totals across our area from the storm on Saturday.

In Floyd County, Rome got just a trace, while some areas in Lindale got up to half an inch.

Calhoun saw around a quarter of an inch.

Polk County saw mostly a trace, with a quarter of an inch reported in the Van Wert area.

Bartow County saw mostly a tenth of an inch.

Up to an inch was reported in Northern Paulding County.

There were two corridors in the Northeast/Eastern parts of the state where banding set up and dropped 4-6″ or more.
