Firefighters responded to a residential fire that resulted in a double fatality on Saturday in Plainville.
According to Gordon County Fire and Rescue:
The call came in at 8:55 a.m., and fire units arrived to find the structure fully involved.
A family member told firefighters that an adult male and female were believed to be inside.
Once the fire was brought under control, two bodies were located.
The investigation continues, but preliminary information suggests that the fire may have originated from a space heater.
