The Rome Board of Education will hold its first meeting of the New Year on Tuesday.
The will begin at 5:45 p.m. at the City Schools College and Career Academy, located at 990 Veterans Memorial Highway.
The caucus will be held at 4:00 p.m.
The board will elect the chair and other board officers for 2026 and will review norms, protocol, and the code of ethics.
The board will recognize Region 5-AAAAA Football award winners and the Rome City Schools Advanced Degree program graduates.
In addition to financial and E-SPLOST reports, the board will hear a School Spotlight presentation from Anna K. Davie Elementary and conduct a second reading for the SY27 School Calendar.
