Man charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle
A stolen vehicle lands a Cartersville man in the Floyd County Jail.
According to an arrest warrant:
49-year-old James Mitchum Lee took a 2014 Honda Civic from a location on South McLin Street in Rome on October 7.
The vehicle is valued at more than $5,000.
Lee is charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle, theft by deception and altering, forging or counterfeiting a certificate of motor vehicle title.
Cedartown resident arrested on drug charges
A Cedartown woman is facing drug charges following a traffic stop for DUI at State Route 15 and Booger Hollow Road.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
20-year-old Chelsea Love Cole was found with marijuana and three THC vapes.
She is charged with possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, and driving under the influence.
