Floyd County Jail Reports –
- A 55-year-old Rome man was arrested on Sunday by the Floyd County Police Department at his residence on Ferry Crossing Road in Rome for charges related to assault. According to Floyd County Jail Records, Jerzy Damian Donder allegedly grabbed a victim by the throat and choked him. Donder then also twisted the victim’s arm, causing soreness. Donder is being charged with felony aggravated assault and battery.
- A 33-year-old Rome woman was arrested on Monday by the Rome Police Department for allegedly striking an officer in the face during a traffic stop and resisting arrest. According to Floyd County Jail Records, Bralisha Charnei Evans is being charged with felony and misdemeanor obstruction of an officer, battery, and headlight requirement. The arrest took place on East 14th Street and Second Avenue.
