Qualifying begins Monday for the November 4 Municipal Elections.
All seven seats on the Rome City School Board are on the ballot.
Voters will also decide three seats on the Rome City Commission, all in Ward Two, currently held by Elaina Beeman, Jamie Doss, and Randy Quick.
“We allow the maximum time that state law allows,” said Rome City Clerk Joe Smith. “Qualifying begins at 8:30 a.m. on Monday. It will run through 4:30 p.m. on Friday in my office downstairs at Rome City Hall. The qualifying fees are 3 percent of the annual salaries. So, that means $360 for Rome City Commission, and $180 for Rome Board of Education.
