-Staff reports-
If you’ve had a craving for a Mushroom N Swiss burger, you may have already noticed that several Hardee’s locations have closed across the region, including the Rome locations on Turner McCall Boulevard and Cedartown Highway at Five Points.
The Hardee’s in Adairsville and Calhoun have also closed their doors.
A note posted at the Turner McCall location read:
“Thank you for being loyal guests and for allowing us to be a part of this community. Unfortunately, this location has been closed and will remain closed until further notice. We appreciate your patronage over the years.”
The company’s website states that the restaurants are “temporarily closed” but offers no further details.
What we do know is–Hardee’s has filed suit against a 77-unit franchisee, accusing the operator of refusing to remain current on payments and other obligations.
That franchisee, ARC, operates restaurants in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina, and Wyoming.
