The Rome City Commission will get updates on the ECO Center when they meet Monday.
The 2017 SPLOST package earmarked over $3 million for the ECO Center. However, construction prices have raised considerably since then.
Also Monday, Rome City Clerk Joe Smith will give an update on qualifying for the upcoming municipal elections.
Qualifying starts Monday, Aug. 21, and runs through Friday, Aug. 25.
Six of the nine Rome City Commission seats will be on the ballot.
A resolution regarding the establishment of a charge for the City of Rome’s water leak protection program at $1.50 a month is also on the agenda along with the recognition of Rome’s graduates of the Management Development Program.
The regular meeting begins at 6:30 pm at Rome City Hall.
The caucus, which starts at 5 pm, will include a presentation regarding the parks and quality of life project update.
