The Floyd County Commission will consider the approval of Studio 8 Design architect for the agriculture center when they meet on Tuesday.
The ag center, which is a 2017 special purpose, local option sales tax project will be located on about 42 acres near Mt. Berry Mall.
Also Tuesday, commissioners will consider several items from the planning commission, one of which is the rezoning of property at 4805 Huffaker Road from Agricultural Residential to Heavy Industrial.
Commissioners will also consider a request from the purchasing department to approve Harbor Services Inc. as the General Contractor for the AdventHealth Baseball Stadium renovations. This is being procured under the Omnia Cooperative agreement. Floyd County would agree to enter into this agreement with costs not to exceed $2.1 million.
The commission meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the county administration building on East Fourth Avenue.
The caucus starts at 4 p.m.
