A Cartersville man has been charged in connection with a deadly shooting on Reservoir Street in Rome back on February 4.
According to arrest warrants:
22-year-old Jaquavious Jaquail Carter is charged with murder and aggravated assault in the death of 56-year-old Sam Franklin Jr. of Aragon, who was discovered with a gunshot wound outside an apartment at Park Homes.
Franklin was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Carter is also charged with discharging a firearm near a public street and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in connection with an incident on July 21 at East 14th Street and Spring Creek Street in which he allegedly fired a gun from a vehicle while standing up through the sunroof.
