Report: Woman intentionally backs vehicle into residence
A Rome woman was arrested Saturday on a felony count of aggravated assault.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
54-year-old Stephanie Lynn Ray backed her vehicle into a residence on Wilkerson Road, which could have caused serious bodily injury to the people inside.
Man charged with theft by taking
An arrest has been made in connection with the theft of patio furniture from a West Rome restaurant.
According to an arrest warrant:
62-year-old Perry Lynn Vandine of Rome took the metal patio furniture from the business on Redmond Circle on October 18 and then took the items to a recycling center to be sold.
The furniture was valued at more than $2,500.
Vandine is charged with felony theft by taking.
Man charged with drug crimes
A Rome man was booked into the Floyd County Jail Saturday on drug charges.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
31-year-old Brandon Montae Henderson was found in possession of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, and oxycodone during the execution of a search warrant at his Flannery Street home back on July 13.
Henderson reportedly fled from law enforcement officers.
He is charged with possession of marijuana, a Schedule I controlled substance, and a Schedule II controlled substance, all with the intent to distribute, as well as obstruction of law enforcement and possession of drug-related objects.
