Thursday night the baseball team formerly known as the Rome Braves revealed their new team name to the public.
The Rome Emperors debuted their new name, logo, and merchandise during the reveal party.
The community was invited to see the new store setup at Advent Health Stadium, as well as purchase some of their new merchandise featuring their new penguin logo.
The Rome Emperor’s General Manager, David Lane, held a press conference regarding the name change for the Atlanta Braves affiliated team (see in the video above).
GM David Lane noted that the team will have a mascot that will be revealed at a later time.
