An inmate at the Floyd County Jail has been charged with battery and unlawful acts of violence in a penal institution.
According to jail records:
31-year-old Eric Taylor Bunch used his right fist to punch another inmate in the head, causing the victim to fall down.
The incident occurred late last week.
