The Rome-Floyd County Development Authority will discuss the Battey Business Center and other agenda items when it meets on Tuesday.
Last week, it was announced that a data center project proposed for the complex, which is the former site of the Northwest Georgia Regional Hospital, had been withdrawn by Atlas Development.
Meanwhile, Enterprise Corner off of Highway 411 is now GRAD certified.
The Georgia Ready for Accelerated Development Certification program establishes a portfolio of pre-qualified industrial sites across Georgia that are “shovel-ready.”
The sites must be approved by a board of public and private economic development professionals based on set criteria and due diligence qualifications.
The election of a chair, vice-chair, and secretary/treasurer is also on the agenda for the meeting, which begins at 9 a.m. at the Rome-Floyd County Development Authority office at 800 Broad Street, Suite 102.
