The following Schools have announced closures for Tuesday
Rome City Schools – Independent Learning Day for staff and students No after-school activities.
Floyd County Schools – Closed. All afternoon and extracurricular activities will proceed as scheduled.
Polk County Schools – Closed
Gordon County Schools – Closed
Calhoun City Schools – Closed
Bartow County Schools – Closed. Only 12-month or 236-day employees should report to work
Cartersville City Schools – Closed. 240-day staff members, please report when possible
Chattooga County Schools – Learn From Home Day. Afterschool activities will continue as planned
Paulding County Schools – Digital Learning Day. All after-school programs have been canceled and students and staff should remain home. District offices will be closed. Maintenance staff should contact their supervisor if they have questions
Georgia Northwestern Technical College – All classes, activities, and events are canceled
Georgia Highlands College – Remote operations. Classes and operations will continue virtually
The Georgia Department of Public Health Northwest Health District office in Rome and health departments in Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Floyd, Gordon, Haralson, Paulding, Polk, and Walker counties will be closed today
