Local Independence Day Celebrations started on Saturday in Rome and Floyd County.
Lindale held its annual Independence Day Parade, where anyone could enter for free to show their patriotism.
Lindale’s annual Independence Day celebration included a festival and car show at the park, featuring vendors of all kinds, cars, trucks and even tractors.
Proceeds from the entry fees will go to benefit Christmas for Kids and restoration projects in Lindale.
