The Floyd County Commission will discuss security cameras for the Historic Floyd County Courthouse when it meets on Tuesday.
The 134-year-old courthouse was damaged in a fire on March 23.
Security fencing is already up around the building, and commissioners are being asked to approve the spending of $26,265 in insurance funds from the fire to the purchase of security cameras from Logical Systems Inc.
Agenda items also include the purchase of in-car and body cameras for the Floyd County Police Department, a construction contract for the rehab and overlay project for Runway 1/19 at the airport, and appointments to the recreation advisory council, the airport commission, and the Floyd County Development Authority.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the county administration building on East Fourth Avenue.
The caucus starts at 4 p.m.
