The Forum in Downtown Rome was full of Veterans and Veterans Services Providers on Thursday and Friday, June 11th and 12th for the We Care Vet Fair. The Fair was hosted by United Military Care Inc. in hopes of connecting veterans with all manner of services. Services such as veteran identification, healthcare, mortgages and rent assistance, financial planning, attorney hiring, employment, schools and training programs, assisted living and home care, and burial enrollment.
With over 1,000 attendees total between the two days, the fair has helped many veterans and active-duty service members find help in a large list of different ways. The event featured a focus on women veterans on Thursday morning and a concert on Thursday night, with Friday hosting over 120 different veterans services providers.
