The Rome City Commission will consider a rezoning request for a new townhome development in North Rome when it meets on Tuesday.
The applicant is seeking to rezone multiple parcels on North Broad Street and Dwinell Street from High Density Traditional to Multi-Family Residential in order to demo the existing homes and build a total of 14 townhomes in two phases.
Also, on Tuesday, the commission will discuss appointments to the Northwest Georgia Housing Authority and Community Development Committee, along with a resolution regarding wrecker and towing fees.
Tuesday’s meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at Rome City Hall.
The caucus starts at 5.
