Blood Assurance is in need of blood donations, and there are some incentives to roll up your sleeve.
Now through Friday, anyone who donates to Blood Assurance will be entered into a drawing to win dinner for two at Texas Roadhouse.
Starting on November 17, donors will be entered to win a Thanksgiving gift basket stocked with holiday items.
Blood Assurance is the nonprofit blood supplier for both Atrium Health Floyd and AdventHealth Redmond, so donations have a direct impact on local patients, right here in the community.
They also continue to face a platelet shortage, so platelet donors who give now through Nov. 15 will receive a $25 e-gift card, and all donors through that date will be entered to win one of five $500 grocery e-gift cards.
