Third-party delivery driver accused of stealing from Walmart
A Gaylesville, Alabama, woman is accused of stealing more than $500 in merchandise from the West Rome Walmart last year.
According to an arrest warrant:
32-year-old Brittany Ann Edwards, while employed as a third-party delivery driver, failed to scan 40 items, which were placed in a cart.
She then left the store.
This occurred on seven separate occasions between June 24 and July 14.
Edwards is charged with felony theft by shoplifting.
Man charged with aggravated stalking
A Garden Lakes man was jailed on Tuesday and charged with aggravated stalking.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
43-year-old James Adam Flowers violated a conditional bond by having contact with a woman he was ordered to stay away from.
He was caught on video following the victim in his car and trying to stop her by braking hard.
He also harassed the victim by phone and social media, then went to the victim’s home and refused to leave.
