Two arrested in synthetic marijuana bust
The execution of a search warrant at a residence on Woodward Street in North Rome ended with the arrest of two people on drug charges.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
49-year-old Barbara Leigh Maloney and 44-year-old Joshua Franklin Reynolds Sr. were found with several ounces of synthetic marijuana, digital scales, and chemicals used to make synthetic marijuana.
Both are charged with possession, possession with the intent to distribute, and manufacturing synthetic marijuana.
Reynolds is additionally charged with a probation violation.
Man charged with possession of synthetic marijuana
An East Rome man is facing a felony drug charge after a police officer observed a hand-to-hand transaction on East 20th Street near Maple Street.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
33-year-old Justin Keith Jones is charged with possession of synthetic marijuana.
He is also being held for a probation violation.
