The Rome Floyd Chamber has opened nominations for Leadership Rome and is accepting applications for Emerge.
Nominations for Leadership Rome, presented by Georgia Power, are being accepted through Friday, March 27.
The criteria include being a Chamber member in good standing, and they must live in Rome and Floyd County.
If you are nominating someone who doesn’t live or work in Rome, Floyd, please share the special circumstance of why they should be considered.
Only one nomination is needed per person.
Leadership Rome is Rome/Floyd County’s signature leadership program through the Rome Floyd Chamber, designed to develop emerging community leaders while strengthening awareness of local issues.
Participants gain the knowledge, skills, and connections needed to use their talents to best serve our community.
Meanwhile, the Emerge – High School Leadership Rome applications are open to any student attending a school located in Floyd County.
The student must be a rising sophomore or junior with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
This premier 10-month leadership program is designed for rising high school sophomores and juniors who want to grow their leadership skills, serve their community, and make a difference.
Through hands-on learning and mentorship from Leadership Rome Alumni, students gain real insight into community issues and how strong leaders create solutions.
Applications will be accepted through Friday, March 27.
