Woman accused of stealing from an elderly person
An Aragon woman, already in the Floyd County Jail, is facing additional charges.
According to jail records:
28-year-old Abigail Lynette Allen stole a financial transaction card belonging to the 77-year-old victim and then used the card 14 times between November 5 and November 8, 2025.
The transactions, totaling $874.60, caused the victim’s bank account to go into the negative twice.
Allen is charged with multiple counts of financial transaction card fraud and a single count of exploitation of the elderly.
She has been in jail since February 23 after being arrested for probation violations.
Woman arrested on drug charges
A West Rome woman was arrested on Wednesday on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a Schedule I controlled substance.
According to Floyd County jail records:
A vehicle driven by 37-year-old Kayla Chenee Delay was stopped on Turner McCall Boulevard without an updated license plate sticker.
She was then found with meth, THC wax, and marijuana.
Delay is additionally charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and operation of a vehicle without a current license plate.
Woman charged with being a fugitive from justice
A Cedartown woman has been arrested on a felony fugitive from justice charge.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
51-year-old Katrina S. Frazier has an active arrest warrant out of Cherokee County, Alabama, on unspecified charges.
She is also charged with failure to appear in court in Floyd County, and bond has been set at $1,600.
Frazier is also being held without bond for the Cherokee County, Alabama, Sheriff’s Office.
