Crawford
A man being sought in connection with an armed robbery at the State Line Tavern at the Georgia-Alabama State Line back on December 28 is in custody.
According to an arrest warrant:
23-year old Alric Gabriel Crawford of Centre, Alabama, entered the business with a gun and demanded money.
He robbed the clerk of around $3,000.
Crawford, who is now in the Floyd County Jail without bond, is charged with armed robbery.
Another suspect, 23-year-old Jeffrey Lemar Smith of Gadsden, was arrested shortly after the robbery after he was found hiding in a dumpster off of West Main Street near Watson Drive in Centre.
