-Staff reports-
You can learn more about Rome’s haunted history aboard the Roman Rose Trolley over the next two weekends.
The Rome Area History Center will present its annual “Haunted on Broad” Trolley Tours.
“It will be held this Friday and Saturday, and next Friday and Saturday,” said Krist Kent with the Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism. “The tours are offered every half hour between 6 t and 9 p.m. The last tour is at nine, and the tickets are only $25. They like to describe it as a spine-tingling tour, and it is all documented history and personal experiences. They change it up every year.”
Hear accounts of former residents who can still be seen in numerous locations around the city, continuing to live their lives as if we did not exist.
“You will hop aboard the Roman Rose trolley, right there at the history center”, Kent added. “They will have different characters and storytellers that really make all the stories come alive. They really do a great job.”
