Two arrested for burglary, meth possession
A homeless woman and an Adairsville man are accused of breaking into a home on Collins Road off Morrison Campground Road on Tuesday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
43-year-old Patricia Nicole Johnson and 18-year-old Magnum McFreddy Dover entered the home by damaging a back door and attempted to take two firearms.
They were also found in possession of a stolen vehicle, valued at $23,000 and had several tools commonly used in burglaries.
Johnson was also in possession of suspected methamphetamine while Dover had both suspected meth and marijuana.
Both are charged with 1st-degree burglary, theft by taking, theft by receiving, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, 2nd-degree criminal damage to property, and possession of methamphetamine.
Dover is additionally charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug-related objects.
Man arrested in Rome on warrants out of Florida
A Rome man was arrested at his Cambridge Drive residence for having a warrant for his arrest for alleged crimes committed in Florida.
According to Floyd County Jail Records and Pasco County Warrant Information:
49-year-old Jason Leon Sewell was arrested on Wednesday on a warrant for his arrest for crimes committed in Pasco County, Florida.
The charges include 2nd-degree grand theft and operation of a business without certifications or a license.
Sewell has been charged with being a fugitive from justice.
