Woman Arrested for Obstruction for Flushing Drugs
A woman was arrested after not complying to a search warrant, and attempting to flush evidence of a crime.
According to Floyd County Jail Records:
38 year old Tierra Jade Slocum of North Rome was arrested after a search warrant was executed on her home. Slocum didn’t comply with the warrant and lawful commands and instead flushed drugs down the toilet and consumed other drugs.
Slocum was found in possession of methamphetamine and a snorting device.
Man Arrested for Sand Blasting Pots before Stealing them.
A man was arrested for robbing a pottery shop.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
19 year old Braxton Matthew McGhee was arrested on the 28th of June on Rockmart Road for illegally entering a private shop and proceeding to sandblast pots within the shop. After which he loaded the pots into his Ford F-150 and attempted to leave before being stopped by the owner of the shop.
Mr. McGhee has been charged with burglary of the second degree.
Man Arrested for Pushing Police Officer in Attempt to Go Back to Prison
According to Floyd County Jail Records:
After serving a 12 year prison sentence, 65 year old Larry Donald Mount struck a uniformed police officer’s chest with both hands in an act of desperation to be sent to jail.
