Woman accused of setting husband’s belongings on fire
A Rome woman was arrested on Wednesday at her Berkshire Drive residence on a felony 3rd-degree arson charge.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
51-year-old Kellie Ann Smith-Blalock burned property belonging to her husband, including $200 worth of clothing and shoes.
She also told police that she had put her husband out of the home and was in the process of changing the locks on the doors.
Blalock is also charged with criminal trespass.
Man accused of sending obscene text messages
A Florida man was booked into the Floyd County Jail on Wednesday on a felony count of obscene internet contact with a child.
According to the arrest warrant:
38-year-old Christopher Rocco Sansone discussed sexual acts via text message with someone he believed was a 14-year-old female back on June 17.
Man charged with aggravated assault with a gun
A Silver Creek man is facing a felony aggravated assault charge following his arrest on Wednesday.
According to an arrest warrant:
18-year-old Jackie David Cantrell III shot at another man from a moving vehicle on Avenue C in Lindale.
The incident occurred on Wednesday.
She is charged with participation in criminal street gang activity, hindering the apprehension of a criminal and theft by receiving stolen property.
Woman charged with card fraud
A West Rome woman has been arrested on two counts of financial transaction card fraud.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
28-year-old Michelle Natsumi Londot used her step-father’s financial transaction cards without authorization to send $1,421 to her personal CashApp.
