“This recognition reflects the commitment our students have made to challenging themselves through rigorous coursework,” Rome High School Principal Dr. Christy Epps said. “I’m incredibly proud of their hard work and perseverance, and I want to thank our teachers for preparing students to succeed at such a high level. These accomplishments demonstrate the culture of excellence we continue to build at Rome High School.”
Superintendent Dr. Eric L. Holland said the increase in AP Scholars is another example of the district’s commitment to preparing students for success beyond graduation.
“Seeing more students earn AP Scholar recognition each year is exactly what moving the needle looks like,” Holland said. “These accomplishments are the result of students embracing academic challenges, teachers providing outstanding instruction and families supporting learning at home. We congratulate each of these students for this outstanding achievement and look forward to seeing the impact they will continue to make in college and beyond.”
