A Rome man has died from injuries he sustained in a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Tuesday on Highway 411 near Hardin Bridge Road in Bartow County.
According to preliminary reports from the Georgia State Patrol:
A Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van was traveling westbound on Highway 411 when it struck the rear of a white box truck.
The crash initially resulted in the closure of all lanes of the highway.
The driver of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van, 53-year old Scotty Rogers was transported to Cartersville Medical Center where he died from injuries sustained in the accident.
