Following Monday’s holiday, the Floyd County Commission is back to work tonight.
The commission will hold its second meeting of May and will consider a request from county facilities management to approve an agreement with Georgia Power for exterior lighting at the Historic Courthouse for security purposes.
The cost will be covered by insurance proceeds.
The item is on the meeting’s consent agenda.
The commission will also consider a request to approve authorization to execute an engagement agreement with attorneys for PFAs litigation.
Tuesday’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Floyd County Administration Building on East Fourth Avenue.
