Man charged with rape
An Armuchee man was booked into the Floyd County Jail on Tuesday on a felony warrant charging him with rape.
According to an arrest warrant:
28-year-old Teylor Evan Dempsey raped a woman at his Painter Road residence on September 9 of last year.
Man charged with aggravated stalking
A Rome man is facing a felony aggravated stalking charge following his arrest on Tuesday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
50-year-old Tyson Voils violated a conditional bond when he got into a physical altercation with a woman, leaving the victim with a cut on her left eye.
As the victim was exiting the vehicle and her family was assisting her to collect her belongings, Voils accelerated, leaving ruts in the yard.
He is additionally charged with battery and reckless driving.
