The execution of a search warrant at a residence on Leafemore Road resulted in the arrest of two people on drug trafficking charges.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force officers recovered over 28 grams of methamphetamine and over five pounds of marijuana, along with packaging materials.
In addition to trafficking, 32-year-old Rogerick Laterrius Sams and 30-year-old Kearra Shamone Tillman are also charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with the intent to distribute, felony possession of marijuana, and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
Tillman is additionally charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance after she was found with an oxycodone pill.
