As a result of the fire on Monday at the Historic Floyd County Courthouse, an order has been issued to close the new courthouse next door, along with a judicial emergency.
Civil and criminal matters on any calendar will be continued until further notice.
The judicial center will reopen on Wednesday, unless the order is extended.
