Three people were arrested on drug charges following the execution of a search warrant at a home on Branham Avenue over the weekend.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Authorities found fentanyl, suspected fentanyl, cocaine, psilocybin, marijuana, digital scales, packaging materials, and a firearm.
The drugs were located in proximity to a 1-year-old child.
35-year-old Darryl Allen Williams, 25-year-old T’Mar Birch, both of the residence, and 34-year-old Martell DeAngelo Collier of Coosa, are all charged with possession of fentanyl and cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, felony possession of marijuana, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Williams and Birch are also charged with 1st-degree cruelty to children, with Williams also facing a felony count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Williams is also charged with the sale of fentanyl for allegedly selling fentanyl to a cooperating witness on January 22.
