The Rome City Commission will hold its first meeting of March on Monday.
The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the commission chambers on the second floor of Rome City Hall.
The caucus will start at 5 p.m. in the Sam King Room.
The caucus will include a presentation regarding a community recreation initiative from Rome City School Superintendent Dr. Eric Holland.
Agenda items for the regular meeting will include a discussion of the draft sidewalk ordinance.
A request for a Coin Operated Amusement Machine Waiver at the Stop N Go, 400A Calhoun Avenue, is expected to be tabled until the commission’s March 23 meeting.
The commission is also expected to discuss protocol for guest speakers and proposed adjustments to public comment.
