Update: The railroad crossing maintenance schedule has been pushed forward a couple of days. Alabama Hwy will NOT CLOSE today.

Norfolk Southern will be performing needed maintenance at several railroad crossings in Rome and Floyd County this week, including a few on some commonly traveled roads.
According to Chris Fincher with Floyd County Emergency Management, while state routes could potentially be open within 24 hours, others may remain closed for up to 48 hours.
We will update with the new schedule as soon as it becomes available.
