Area residents have a chance to hear from candidates seeking to fill the 14th District seat in Congress, left vacant by the resignation of Marjorie Taylor Greene, during a Special Election Candidate Forum on Tuesday.
21 candidates are running in the Special Election—16 Republicans, three Democrats, one Libertarian, and one independent.
One candidate, Christian Hurd, has announced that he is dropping out of the race.
The forum, which will be moderated by Dan Bevels, begins at 6 p.m. and will be streamed live on One Community United’s Facebook page.
It will be held at the Rome City Auditorium and is free and open to the public.
