Rome City Commissioners will discuss a number of issues during their annual planning retreat, which is coming up this week.
The retreat will begin on Wednesday at 7:45 a.m. in the Coosa Room at the Forum River Center.
The morning session will include an update on the new reverse osmosis water treatment plant, a discussion of the South Broad Street Bridge, which is due for a rehab, social media and communications, and an update on the Unified Land Development Code and corridor overlays.
Following lunch, the commission will discuss issues such as tiny homes, parks and recreation—specifically gym facilities, micro transit, recycling costs, homelessness, and enforcement.
