Early Bird Registration for the 10th annual Leprechaun-a-Thon 5K and 2-mile health walk ends on Sunday.
This year’s event, sponsored by Atrium Health Floyd, will be on March 14, beginning at First Avenue near Bridgepoint Plaza and ending at the Forum and Town Green.
The Early Bird 5K cost is $36, and the walk is $31 until midnight on Sunday.
A portion of the race funds will go directly to support Northwest Georgia Hunger Ministries.

The 5K course is certified by USA Track and Field and is also a Peachtree Road Race qualifier.
Following the run and walk, there will be sports drinks, water, fruits, and snacks at the Town Green as well as foam and music.
Prior to the race, there will be a costume contest at BridgePoint Plaza at approximately 5 p.m.
The contest has three divisions:
- Littlest Leprechaun for children ages 5 and under
- Most festive Leprechaun for kids and adults of all ages
- Best Leprechaun group for kids and adults of all ages
