Report: Man entered residence without permission
A North Rome man has been arrested on charges of 1st-degree burglary and criminal trespass.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
61-year old Frank Vic Boscoe entered a dwelling on Martha Berry Highway while someone was inside, placing the victim in fear of being robbed or injured.
Woman accused of stealing from elderly victims
A 28-year old West Rome woman has been jailed on two counts of exploitation of the elderly and a single count of financial transaction card fraud.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Jessica Ann McCrainie falsely represented the holder of a financial transaction card to withdraw money four different times between September 10 and September 18.
The withdrawals totaled $635, and the victims in the case are senior citizens.
Man accused of making a threat during 911 call
A Cave Spring man was arrested at his Mill Street residence over the weekend on a felony count of terroristic threats and acts.
According to Floyd County jail records:
James Nelson Neal Jr. was recorded by 911 saying that he would kill the victim’s son.
Neal is also being held on a probation violation.
Teen accused of possessing a stolen firearm
A stolen firearm lands a 17-year-old West Rome man behind bars.
According to Floyd County jail records:
Markese Markell Ferguson Jr. was found with the firearm at a location on Beverly Drive on Saturday.
Ferguson is charged with theft by receiving stolen property and possession of a pistol by a person under the age of 18.
Traffic stop leads to drug arrest
A traffic stop over the weekend on Shorter Avenue at Williamson Street ended with the arrest of a Garden Lakes man on multiple charges.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
21-year-old Angelo Hasan Ingram was found with 1.8 ounces of marijuana, which was packaged in several bags.
Ingram was also in possession of a Glock 22 and ran from officers.
Ingram is charged with felony possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, obstruction of law enforcement, driving with a suspended or revoked license, a headlight violation, and a probation violation.
Inmate accused of having meth
An inmate at the Floyd County Prison is facing drug charges
According to the arrest warrants:
28-year-old Tristan Dominic Montfort of Griffin was found with 13 small packets of methamphetamine, weighing 14.27 grams, along with 7.48 grams of marijuana.
The drugs were located inside a sock in a property box belonging to Montfort during a shakedown.
Montfort is charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with the intent to distribute, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, and possession of items prohibited for possession by inmates.
Report: Man found with meth at rehabilitation home
A Summerville man was booked into the Floyd County Jail late last week on a felony possession of methamphetamine charge.
According to jail records:
22-year old Isaac Eric Dewayne Hine was found with meth while at a rehabilitation home on Lovell Road.
A witness found the meth and called 911.
Man arrested on drug charges on Highway 53
A man from Exeter, New Hampshire, was arrested on Highway 53 near Plainville Road on drug charges over the weekend.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
61-year old Scott Eric Harlow was found with THC and marijuana during a traffic stop.
He is charged with possession of a Schedule I controlled substance and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
