Woman charged with aggravated assault with a knife
A South Rome woman was arrested on Sunday on a felony count of aggravated assault.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
56-year-old Sandy Lanette Winston pulled a knife on a 17-year-old, who sustained a cut to the palm of his hand.
The incident occurred at Winston’s residence on Hardy Avenue.
Man charged with THC oil possession
An Armuchee man is facing charges following his arrest over the weekend.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
57-year-old Grady Allen Williams was found in possession of a THC vape that violated the regulations for low THC oil.
Williams was arrested at a location on Gray Rock Drive in the Garden Lakes area and is charged with possession of THC oil and a parole violation.
Woman charged with felony shoplifting
A Rockmart woman was arrested over the weekend at the West Rome Walmart on a felony theft by shoplifting charge.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
49-year-old Melinda Jo Graves took close to $668 in merchandise and left the store without paying.
