-
December 31 at 5 a.m. through January 2 at 5 a.m.
Emergency closures and some long-term work zones may still be active.
What to Expect on the Roads
-
Heaviest travel is expected Monday and Tuesday before Christmas, especially during the afternoon and evening hours
-
Lighter traffic is expected from Christmas Eve through the weekend

Congestion is most likely on interstates around Atlanta, Macon, Savannah, Chattanooga, and along I-75, I-16, I-95, and I-85
