Woman accused of using her vehicle as a weapon against another motorist
A North Rome woman was jailed on Wednesday, charged with aggravated assault, aggressive driving, hit and run, and stalking.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
35-year-old Hannah Rebecca Craig used her vehicle as a weapon against another person.
She followed the other motorist in an attempt to harass and intimidate.
Craig also struck another vehicle and left the scene.
Craig is additionally charged with concealing the identity of a vehicle and driving without insurance.
Two arrested for drugs, stolen firearm
Two Lindale men are facing charges following a traffic stop on Maple Road.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
24-year-old Austin Keith Craig was found with marijuana and a stolen firearm.
He is charged with theft by receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
36-year-old Brandon Eugene Akins was found with methamphetamine.
He is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug-related objects, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, theft by receiving stolen property, and a probation violation.
Woman accused of damaging property
A Rome woman has been arrested on charges of 2nd-degree criminal damage to property, criminal trespass, and aggravated stalking.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
33-year-old Fantasha Gibson Windom caused more than $1,800 in damage to the property of the victim, which included a window, two televisions, a washer, and a dryer back on August 14.
Windom violated the terms of a conditional bond stating that she have no contact with the victim by going to the home for the purpose of damaging property.
