Woman facing drug charges-
A West Rome woman is facing charges after she was reportedly found with 20 hydrocodone pills during a traffic stop on Veterans Memorial Highway.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
The pills were located inside a plastic baggie during a probable cause search of the vehicle.
34-year-old Chandra Ladonna Brumbelow is charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, and possession of drugs not in the original container.
Man charged with meth possession
An East Rome man is facing drug charges after he was found passed out, behind the wheel of his vehicle in the middle of the road on Greenview Drive.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
26-year-old Randy Adonis-Dalon Finley had had two pipes, a small baggie of methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana, which was between his legs in plain sight.
Finley is charged with possession of meth, possession of drug-related objects, and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
Woman accused of making gaming machine cash payout
A Rome woman was arrested on Thursday on a misdemeanor warrant charging her with the unlawful use of coin-operated games.
According to the warrant:
51-year-old Lizel Cabasal paid out $115 in cash to a game winner in violation of Georgia Code, which prohibits cash payouts.
The incident occurred at the convenience store at the intersection of Alabama Highway and Woods Road on September 11.
Report: Man shot neighbor’s dog
A West Rome man was jailed Thursday on a misdemeanor count of cruelty to animals.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
44-year old Joshua Davis Magnussen went onto his neighbor’s property on Watson Street and shot the man’s dog.
