Traffic on Wax Road may experience delays on Wednesday as Public Works replaces a failed cross drain.
Work will begin at 8 a.m. in the area of 720 Wax Road, which has been identified as a narrow section of roadway.
Floyd County Public Works encourages motorists to be patient or identify alternate routes.
The road may be closed at times because it could be unsafe for travel.
Traveling east on Wax Road from Ga. 101, the construction area will be past Donahoo Road after the first big curve.
