Warrant: Man failed to return rented U-Haul
A Cartersville man was booked into the Floyd County Jail on Monday on a felony warrant charging him with theft by conversion.
According to the warrant:
26-year-old Daver Lopez Ramos rented a U-Haul at 3144 Martha Berry Highway in the Armuchee area in October of last year, but never returned it.
Ramos was driving the U-Haul when he was involved in a traffic stop in Bartow County.
Man accused of cutting off his ankle monitor
A man arrested last week on warrants charging him with felony probation violations is facing an additional charge of interference with an electronic monitoring device.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
41-year-old Derrick Chad Rudeseal admitted to cutting off his ankle monitor and damaging it in the process.
The monitor was located on Doyle Street.
