A current member of the Rome City School Board has thrown her hat into the ring for a seat on the Rome City Commission.
Jill Fisher, who has been on the school board since 2018, qualified to run for the Post Two seat on the city commission on Wednesday.
She joins the three incumbents in the race.
Elaina Beeman and Randy Quick qualified on Monday, while incumbent Jamie Doss qualified on Tuesday.

The top three vote-getters are elected.
Meanwhile, for the school board, incumbent Toni Blanchard signed up to see another term on Wednesday, joining Faith Collins, Marquita Davis, Karl Gyden, Alvin Jackson, and Ron Roach on the ballot.

The top seven vote-getters in November will be elected.
If you would like to run for the Rome City Commission, the qualifying fee is $360.
The fee to run for the school board is $180.
Qualifying will run until Friday at 4:30 PM at the Rome City Clerk’s office at Rome City Hall.
Meanwhile, qualifying has concluded for the Cave Spring City Council.
In Post Three, Kristi Reed and Nancy Fricks will face off in November.
In Post Four, incumbent Charles Jackson will face a challenge from Greg Webb.
In Post Five, Warren Baker Harbin, Joseph Fisher, and Tom Lindsey have all qualified.
