If you have driven by the Midtown Crossing shopping center recently, you may have noticed that the new Academy Sports is taking shape.
According to a news release from the sporting goods and outdoor recreation retailer, the store at 232 Shorter Avenue is set to open in September.
The 44,000 square foot store is Academy’s 21st location in Georgia.
This Rome location is expected to bring an estimated 60 new jobs to the community.
